When you sign-in with your Google Account on Google Chrome browser it automatically sign you into your Google Chrome user profile. Earlier it was a choice to stay sign-in but from recent update Google is forcing every user to stay sign-in at the time of browsing.
You many not like this feature for various privacy reason here were not going to talk about it. Unless, here we are going to see how to remove Google account from Chrome.
How to Remove Google Account from Chrome
Open Google Chrome browser on your device.
On the upper right-corner click on your circular profile picture or your profile initials.
Click on the Setting button next to other profiles
Here you will find the list of profile connected on this device
Select the profile which you want to remove from this computer and click on the three dot and select delete to delete it.
You will get the below warning message and this will permanently delete your browsing data from this device. If you are sure, click Delete to delete the chrome profile on your computer.
How to turn off Google Account Automatic Signin
If you don’t want to signin your Google account to your Chrome profile automatically, then there is an option by enabling this you can disable this behavior and stop Google Chrome to automatically signin with your Google account for chrome profile.
- Open Google Chrome browser and click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner
- Click on Settings in the list of options
3. On the Settings page click on Sync and Google services
4. Disable the Allow Chrome sign-in button at the top.
As mentioned on the screen by turning off this button Google chrome will not automatically sign in your google account to chrome profile.
